If you are on a monthly subscription plan, the termination notice must be received at least five working day before your next billing date. Termination will be effective from the next billing date following the notice.
If you are on an annual subscription plan, the termination notice must be received at least one month before the end of your current subscription year. Termination will be effective upon the completion of the subscription year you have already paid for.
Effective Date: The termination of your access to Rote will take effect as described above, depending on the type of subscription plan you are on.
Access After Termination: Once your termination takes effect, you will no longer have access to Rote and its features. You are responsible for saving any necessary data or information before the termination date, as we will not be liable for any loss of data or content.
Refunds: Please note that unless otherwise specified in applicable laws, we do not provide refunds for any remaining portion of your subscription term upon termination.
We reserve the right to terminate your access to Rote for any violation of these Terms or failure to make required payments, in accordance with the terms outlined in this section. All intellectual property rights related to Rote, including but not limited to software, content, trademarks, logos, and design, are the property of Paddlewater. Your use of Rote does not grant you any ownership or rights to our intellectual property.

Sell or Resell: You are prohibited from selling, sublicensing, leasing, or otherwise commercially exploiting Rote or any part thereof without our prior written consent.
Modify or Repurpose: You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Rote or create derivative works based on it.
Use for Harmful Purposes: You shall not use Rote for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose, nor engage in any activity that could infringe upon the rights of others.
Infringement: You agree not to use any intellectual property, including trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material, that is likely to cause confusion or infringe upon the rights of Paddlewater or any third party.
Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property or violation of the terms in this section may result in immediate termination of your access to Rote and potential legal action.

Employer Responsibilities: If you are using Rote as an employer, you are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, legality, and up-to-dateness of any employee data you input into the system. This includes obtaining any necessary consents from employees for the collection and processing of their personal data.
Non-Discrimination: We are committed to treating all data, regardless of its nature, without prejudice. We will not engage in discriminatory practices based on race, gender, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic, in the handling of data within Rote.

If we are unable to provide access to Rote due to events outside of our control, we will not be obligated to provide compensation or refunds for any resulting inconveniences or losses.
As Rote is currently in beta, we are continuously working to improve and refine its features. We retain the right to make changes, additions, or modifications to Rote at any stage of its development. These changes may include, but are not limited to, adding new features, removing existing features, and altering the user interface.
